Commentary on the Riots — The Real Villains

Tags:

Important commentary on the riots is presented below. The real villains are exposed.

In the video, Tucker Carlson describes how government panders for votes. The video may shock but it represents only a small slice of the brutality, cruelty, pain and terror that citizens have had to bear. Innocents are brutalized because government has apparently determined the cost of their pain is worth it compared to the damage to local and national politicians.

Saving lives, protecting property and ensuring a civil society are apparently not important when votes are at risk.

These riots show the true nature of government. The lesson: You work for the politicians and not the other way around. You are the fodder they feed off, their meal ticket. They enrich themselves by using you.

In the best of times: You produce; they take! You are always a political calculation and are treated in whatever manner perceived to be best for their re-elections. Sometimes their interests coincide with yours. When they don’t, you draw the short stick.

H. L. Mencken provided perfect commentary:

If a politician found he had cannibals among his constituents, he would promise them missionaries for dinner.

Consider yourself a missionary with a dinner invite.

Few things expose the fraud of government better than this crisis. Principles, laws, the Constitution are inconveniences when they conflict with perceived strategies to win re-election. Staying in the trough trumps everything. Votes matter but all calculations are considered.

Political ethics are defined by doing whatever is necessary in order to hold the office. Correctly or not, a calculation has been made that pandering to the rioters is less risky than preserving civility.

Rarely are we presented with such a disgusting example of that than the current situation. It is the political equivalent of men pushing women and children out of lifeboats in order to save themselves.

The video provides commentary on the riots that supports the point that political survival is more important than citizen safety, a civil society and the Rule of Law. A great people and country are being raped by its political class. I doubt this can go on much longer.
