The world didn’t end on December 21, 2012. Nor, according to NASA, was it supposed to. Watch this video for some interesting information on the Mayans and their calendar.
As an aside, I wonder why NASA spent time on this issue. Perhaps it was only the personal time of the scientists involved? I thought their new mission was Muslim outreach. Clearly this video does not qualify for that!

What’s continues to be puzzling is the video directed to NASA employees put out by the NASA Director last year or the year before. In the vid, he recommends they all ‘prepare’ explaining how NASA ‘looks after their own’ WTH does THAT mean?
