Benghazi is a tragedy on several levels. Four American lives were lost simply because this country did not protect citizens who were serving the country. Whether there was negligence before the fact in terms to inadequate security is an important question, but it pales in comparison with two other issues:
- What is the President covering up and why? Can he be trusted at all?
- What is the role of the mainstream press in society? Are they a defender of more information or are they so ideologically compromised as to be useless?

That the president and his administration has lied to the American people about what happened at Benghazi on September 11 is undeniable.
Today is October 29.
