George Orwell’s 1984 didn’t arrive until recently. Now we have official government doublespeak statistics. We all know that the unemployment rate is much higher than 8.1% and inflation is well above the official 2 to 3 % rate. The politicians can’t deliver actual jobs and low inflation, but they can deliver phony statistics.
This is the age where liberal wishes trump reality. We wish that over-spending and borrowing was the solution to past over-spending, so we simply make up numbers to justify what we want to do. Elizabeth Warren wishes she was a minority so she imagines a Cherokee Great-Great-Great Grandmother. Al Sharpton and the Black Panthers wish thatTrayvon Martin was shot by a white racist so they simply make George Zimmerman white.
Zimmerman and Obama are each 50 percent white, but Zimmerman becomes a white man and Obama is black. Meanwhile, Liz Warren is 31 32nds white, but she is Harvards only minority woman. This liberal dream world is getting harder for sane people to accept. Oh! what a tangled web we weave

Nicely done. So true. Obama is a Messiah for supporting gay marriage three years after Cheney came out in support of gay marriage, and we all know what the left thinks of Cheney.

Another warning from the Founders ignored. They knew full well that knowledge- not propaganda- was essential to the maintenance of Liberty. Tyrants, on the other hand, have universally relied on just the opposite; distorting or hiding truth to their own benefit. How else to explain the government’s continual assault on our system of education (which has become more a system of indoctrination)?
