No, this is not quite the way it works, the dot bribes a great number of the multitudes by giving them some of the money so they do not need to work. It is the legion of takers that maintain control over the legion of givers. The givers are busy making money and have no time to defend themselves.
The legion of takers has grown out of control – the dot is running out of money to give them. They will revolt and riot against the givers.
This will lead to a period of strife, after which the takers are going to find themselves very poor, having to fend for themselves when they were not trained or prepared to do so.
