From JJC:

The Dog Ate My Recovery…

“A man can fail many times, but he isn’t a failure until he begins to blame somebody else.”
                             - John Burroughs

There is a running scene in the Blues Brothers where John Belushi is pursued by a jilted lover.  Stranded at the altar, she has pursued him and now has him cornered- pointing an RPG at him.

He gets down on his knees and rattles off a list of excuses why he did not make it to the church for their wedding:
John Belushi: “You know I love ya, baby. I wouldn’t leave ya! It wasn’t my fault. Honest! I ran out of gas. I had a flat tire. I didn’t have enough money for cab fare. My tux didn’t come back from the cleaners. An old friend came in from out of town. Someone stole my car! There was an earthquake! A terrible flood! Locusts! It wasn’t my fault, I swear to God!”
This is about where our president now stands with the American public.
IBD ran an editorial this morning that is worth reading as it rattles off the list of excuses by our president as to why nothing he has done is working, and who he feels is at fault. Apparently, that blame lay with everyone and everything else except himself and his policies.
If it weren’t so serious, this would be funny.
But it’s not, it’s real life.
Well said. Here is the link to IBD.

  1. Well its just getting worse by the day!I have to say that there is NO ONE that is this obtuse :considering he has a cia briefing every week/day and much real information available to him! So he must be doing this on purpose and he cannot be doing this on his own
