Capital Flight
Capital has no nationality. It goes to wherever it is treated properly or better. That is one of the reasons the US is having such difficulty. Capital and jobs are leaving the country. What we think of as US corporations now appear to be more multi-national than US. Taxes play a large role in such considerations.
Microsoft and Apple are two prime examples discussed here.
