John Myers explains why an election solves nothing because if it leaves the Federal Reserve intact:

I write this before the elections have happened, so I don’t know if the GOP won. But what should scare you is that it doesn’t matter. Congress could include Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy, and as long as we have a Federal Reserve acting as recklessly as the one now controlling our economic fate, we are in a lot of trouble.

Read Mr. Myers excellent piece entitled The Election Can’t Save Us From The Fed to get an understanding of what the Fed is doing, how it does it, why it is unlikely to help the real economy and why it will result in inflation that steals your savings and pension. Mr. Myers is a hard-asset guy who provides his opinion as to how to protect yourself.

Ron Paul’s approach to the Fed is the solution. It should be done away with, but that would require a long discussion on credit, banking and honest money. There are probably only two politicians who want such a discussion and they have the same last name — Paul.

  1. The pendulum will not swing it will spin for a few years. Nothing happen yesterday just name changes. GNIQ still in rapid decline. Laurels just about to run out.
