The gap in the number of jobs vs. the number of jobs needed has grown to 11.5 million. Even if employment grows, so does the population.
Remember under President Bush when the media used to disparage the job growth? Most labor reports were accompanied with a phrase that went something like this: There was job growth, but this economy needs at least 125,000 new jobs just to stay even.
