The Moocher Index was referenced here yesterday. I speculated (in jest) whether the “Moocher” states were Red or Blue. Now Chuck Rogers provides the answer:
Go west and south, but not too far west, to find freedom from oppressive taxation
Now, isn’t it curious indeed that the regions that fare worst on both the Moocher Index and the taxation study are heavily Democrat (liberal) areas while the regions that fare best are heavily Republican (conservative or libertarian) areas?
