The Frankenstein monster known as ObamaCare is a mishmashed Rube Goldberg contraption the like of which has never been seen before.

In ways not yet imagined, it will haunt the economy, prevent a recovery and have to be amended again and again and again.

The uncertainty its passage created for small and large businesses was enough to stop hiring and expansion. As more reptiles crawl out from under the rock of ObamaCare, the uncertainties will only increase.

Below is a piece detailing the most recent example. The bill as passed means little as changes are being made to attempt to make it workable.

The bill itself froze economic activity. Now, we are at an even higher level of uncertainty as the flaws and contradictions become apparent. A new definition of Law appears to be evolving. “Law is whatever we pass until we choose to change it.”

No business wants to operate without a meaningful Rule of Law and without some certainty regarding the legal framework.

This bill is just another reason to kiss the dreams of a recovery good-bye. Ditto, regarding any hopes of returning to anything approaching historical growth rates or standards of living.

Of course, this attempt to stop employers from dropping insurance will fail (even if it is genuine). That provides the necessity for a single-payer system, desired by many in Congress from the beginning.

Welcome to Socialist Hell.
