Capital Flight

Intellectual capital is leaving the US. For years real capital has been doing so, resulting in the shift of manufacturing from this country to other countries. Fear is also causing individuals to investigate ways to get some of their savings out of this country to whatever is considered a safer harbor.

These are all signs of a nation in decline. They are actions as old as men and nations, repeated again and again down through history. When the US was in its ascendancy phase it was the beneficiary of these actions. Now they are reversing, leaving the country as the provider of such capital to others.

The following piece from the Daily Reckoning provides the details on how China’s best and brightest are returning home.

  One Response to “Capital Flight”

  1. After enron !I thought that the ne legislation would make “capital take flight” and it did also:I wondered why the enabling bankers and hedgefunds and SYSTEM OF DERIVATIVES were not addressed and discussed meaningfully :by congress and supreme courts.
    Now:here we are
Intellectual capital is a losEr. For usa because of looni left stopping great discussion and good research: global warming should have been a huge discussion topic : open ended and properly questioned
    There are thousands of angles
Corbon is a non starter if humans e animals and plants use it and exhale it
The mind boggles as children worldwide now have teachers brAinwashing them this non-gospel EVERY DAYH even after climategate!
The looni universities ARE STIIL NOT DISCUSSING or researching it :
Climate change is fascinating:think what we could have discovered if honesty was a policy in reseArch and money given to places of learning with real interest for research not propaganda
