Read this over at American Thinker and clicked through to your site. Nice job. I see you started this recently. I have already bookmarked it. Keep up the good work. I am a huge fan of Hayek and a believer that the Austrian school is the only true study of economics. Keynes provided some useful tools but, his work has been seized upon by the socialists and used to further their agenda. I think Keynes would be saddened by this. He spoke highly of The Road to Serfdom.

Thanks for the response. I think it is premature to be thinking of emigrating, but one cannot be sure. If things develop as I expect, I am not sure that other countries will be able to retain whatever Rule of Law they may have. Probably not too soon to do some preliminary investigations of where you might want or be able to live. Too soon to consider moving.

Great article! Particularly enjoyed this paragraph . . .

The reason that Obamanomics will not and cannot work is because an economy cannot be managed from the top. Economics is a bottom-up process that depends upon individual incentives. Critical incentives have been diminished or destroyed by recent economic policies. Fear, uncertainty, threats, tax increases, penalties and violations of the rule of law are merely some of the conditions anathema to entrepreneurs, small business and large business. Businesses will not hire, invest or expand in a climate of disincentives. No commands from on high can force economic activity. That was a lesson that should have been learned from Eastern Europe and the former USSR.

Now what do we do? Find another country to move to??

The Rich usually get richer but this time they may not have any customers. Odd way to level the paying field. Make all of us poor.
